Dale Rodgers & David Segal rate the top performers at the weekend’s Supercars round

# 1.    Cam Waters

Winner: Darwin Triple Crown.

Welcome back, Cam. Long overdue return to the front of the field, the #6 side of the Tickford garage was on it all weekend.

# 2.    Matt Payne

Overall 2nd for the weekend.

Race pace was strong but hard to separate from Waters. Grove really has these Ford Mustangs on point.

# 3.    Kai Allen

Overall 3rd for the weekend.

Overcame brake troubles and delivered a great weekend with a P1 on Saturday. Remind Race Press, again, why DJR let him go?

# 4.     Anton DePasquale

P1 in Sunday Race

Surprise winner of the last race, good strategy. Best of the Chevys but only just.

# 5.    Will Brown

P6 for the weekend.

Solid weekend but never looked like winning. But outraced his Championship-leading teammate. Some spring in his step.

#6.     Jack LeBrocq

P8 for the weekend

Hidden Valley specialist. Not a victory contender this time but a proper top 10 runner. Penalty from half-hearted dive on Reynolds in race 1 took the edge off. 

# 7.    Broc Feeney

Best result P7 on Sunday

Disappointing weekend for the championship leader. Never had the pace to contend for victory.

#8.     Chaz Mostert

Sunday DNF after two Top 10s

Not a great weekend for the works GR Toyota team. Both drivers had issues. Did not show Tassie speed.

#9.     Todd Hazelwood

One race – P12 Sunday

Last-minute sub for sick Kostecki, did an excellent job given the circumstances. Outqualified and raced regular driver Rylan Gray. His feedback in the car was outstanding.

#10.    Ryan Wood

Best result P7 in Race 3

Woody would like to forget this, but his ‘push on’ style netted points. His Toyota was off the pace in Darwin, lacking speed and reliability.
