May 1994 will always be remembered as a very dark time in Formula 1 history.

The weekend saw two fatalities— three-time World Champion Ayrton Senna, young Austrian driver Roland Ratzenberger - plus serious injuries to Jordan pilot Rubens Barrichello, mechanics, and spectators, creating Formula 1’s darkest weekend.

Race Press photographer Dale Rodgers shares these special memories of Senna from the Adelaide Grand Prix.
