Top 10 in Townsville

David Segal & Dale Rodgers rate the top performers at the weekend’s Supercars round in Townsville.

1. Brodie Kostecki – When it all comes together, he is a beast.

2. Matt Payne – Fast & reliable, deserves to be the championship leader.

3. Cam Waters – Another strong weekend, could have been even better, let down by Tickford pit problems…again.

4. Will Brown – Qualifying magic elusive, traffic & passing magic there in spades.

5. Kai Allen – Maturing all the time, not quite as quick as his teammate. Yet. Champion in the making.

   
   

6. Chaz Mostert – Toyotas aren’t quick enough in race trim.

7. Broc Feeney – Impressive out front, not so much in traffic.

8. Jack Le Brocq – Another strong, workmanlike weekend. Two excellent recoveries from poor qualifying.

9. Anton dePasquale – Team 18 all over the shop as usual. Winning strategy Saturday repeated on Sunday for no result.

10. Ryan Wood – Top marks for aggression but Toyotas aren’t quick enough in race trim. Plus also suffered fuel drop issues.
